The Fed held rates and the tape threw a fit anyway, with the long end doing most of the damage. Then the overnight quietly bought the entire thing back. Microsoft cleared a hundred billion on the cloud business and opened up nine percent, Meta missed and got sold nine percent the other way, same night, same sector, and NQ picked Microsoft’s side of the argument. That leaves both indexes pressed against yesterday’s value from underneath with the inflation number and the first look at second-quarter growth landing on the same 7:30 print. I lean with us returning to the higher area of balance because…well nothing ever happens.
